This course will familiarize you with the regulations, responsibilities, and best practices as outlined in the CFR 1910.178(a) requirements for forklift operators and forklift maintenance.
OSHA states that before any employee is allowed to operate a conventional forklift, the employer is required to demonstrate that an employee has successfully completed a forklift training and evaluation course of study. Second only to highway accidents, powered industrial truck accidents are one of the leading causes of fatalities in industry. All powered industrial truck operators must be trained and certified.
This forklift training course satisfies the OSHA training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.178 for forklift, motorized hand trucks and powered industrial truck operators for both initial and refresher training.
